Fiber Bragg Gratings have numerous applications in optical communications, laser technology, and sensing systems. They are widely used as in-fiber mirrors or narrowband optical filters. FBGs also serve as sensitive elements for strain and temperature measurement.
Wavelength Locker FBGs are specifically designed as external reflectors for laser diodes, enabling easy stabilization of pump semiconductor laser wavelengths and single-frequency laser generation. Low-reflection gratings with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 0.3 to 0.8 nm and reflectivity between 2% and 5% are ideal for stabilizing pump laser power.
FBGs placed close to semiconductor laser crystals, with FWHM around 0.1 nm and reflectivity of 10% to 20%, are used to create single-frequency laser sources. We offer a line of Wavelength Locker FBGs with highly accurate wavelength positions, with precision up to ±0.02 nm.
